1 "Why are times not stored up by the Almighty,
2 "Some remove the landmarks;
3 "They drive away the donkeys of the orphans;
4 "They push the needy aside from the road;
5 "Behold, as wild donkeys in the wilderness
6 "They harvest their fodder in the field
7 "They spend the night naked, without clothing,
8 "They are wet with the mountain rains
9 "Others snatch the orphan from the breast,
10 "They cause the poor to go about naked without clothing,
11 "Within the walls they produce oil;
12 "From the city men groan,
13 "Others have been with those who rebel against the light;
14 "The murderer arises at dawn;
15 "The eye of the adulterer waits for the twilight,
16 "In the dark they dig into houses,
17 "For the morning is the same to him as thick darkness,
18 "They are insignificant on the surface of the water;
19 "Drought and heat consume the snow waters,
20 "A mother will forget him;
21 "He wrongs the barren woman
22 "But He drags off the valiant by His power;
23 "He provides them with security, and they are supported;
24 "They are exalted a little while, then they are gone;
25 "Now if it is not so, who can prove me a liar,
